Yoga for active seniors

Taking you on a journey from warriors to to the tops of mountains – and tossing in a few lunges just for fun. These classes are designed for anyone who loves yoga and strength, but hates getting down on the floor or taking off their shoes. Stick with this series to improve balance and strengthen all those muscles that help prevent falls. And don’t forget to laugh with us along the way!

Before we start, grab a sturdy chair with a back, but no arms. A yoga block is helpful, but if you don’t have that, a thick book will do. And don’t forget your water!

Flow Classes

Meld movement and breath together as we flow and settle into powerful poses. From the Sanskrit “to place in a special way,” vinyasa harmonizes a sequence of poses with the breath to achieve a continuous flow. Visit here often to discover new practices of different lengths, designed for all types of abilities. For these practices, blocks, straps, and water are sometimes helpful.
